Range Rover Size Number Plates
Some Land Rover and Range Rover models have a plate recess that is both longer and deeper than a standard UK plate. We cut plates at 21 × 6 in so the plate fills the recess properly instead of leaving a gap around it.

Why the oversize plate exists
At 533 × 152 mm the plate is longer and noticeably taller than the 520 × 111 mm UK standard, which is exactly what the deeper recess on these vehicles is designed to hold. Fitting a standard plate leaves an obvious border of bare bumper around it.
Check your existing plate or measure the recess before ordering — not every model in the range uses the oversize format.

Road legal or show
An oversize plate can be supplied to road legal specification where the finished plate keeps the required character height, spacing and margins and carries the supplier and British Standard markings. The builder offers Road Legal only where that applies to the size and finish you pick.
Custom character ranges in this size are supplied as show plates for off-road display.

Do all Range Rovers use the oversize plate?
No. Several models take a standard 520 × 111 mm plate. Measure the recess or check the plate currently fitted, and message us on WhatsApp if you want us to confirm.
Can an oversize plate be road legal?
Yes, where the finished plate meets the UK requirements for your registration. The builder only offers Road Legal where we can actually supply it that way.
Do you need my documents?
Only for road legal plates. After you have ordered and paid we message you on WhatsApp to collect proof of identity and entitlement to the registration — normally your V5C log book plus photo ID. Show plates for off-road display do not require documents.
How quickly will my plates arrive?
