Ghost Number Plates
Ghost plates use tone-on-tone characters that sit almost flush with the plate background, giving a stripped-back, understated look that has become one of the most requested show finishes in the UK.

From £29.99 per plate — road legal or show plate.
The ghost look
Instead of high-contrast black characters, a ghost plate uses a subtle, low-contrast character finish so the registration reads faintly against the plate. On a dark car with a tinted or gloss background it produces a very clean, almost blank appearance.
We build ghost plates in standard oblong, 16" and 18" short, and hex sizes including six-digit and five-digit hex, so the plate suits the recess on your vehicle rather than being trimmed to fit.
Road legal or show plate
Order your ghost plates as Road Legal and we make them to the required specification, with supplier and British Standard markings — after checkout we contact you on WhatsApp to collect the required documents. Ordered as a show plate, the same design is supplied for off-road display with no documents needed.
The choice is made in the builder under Plate Type — the ghost style itself can be supplied either way, in every size and shape we offer.
